Breaking the Silence: An Egyptian Experience

This issue on Egypt is comprised of two reports, one by the Egyptian Task Force against FC/FGM and the second on the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS).

The report of the Egyptian Task Force focuses on the NGO as an effective agent for prompting public opinion and promoting political change at the national level. The report of CEOSS focuses on the dynamics of change within the family and at the community level.
